   If you plan to enjoy Vegas's nightlife alone (say because you are on business) then the best way I can think of to do so is to visit lounges and bars that are trendy (close enough to clubs) but are NOT clubs. It is definitely not a good thing to be in a club all alone. Among the bars that I find the most fun and have the most girls are:

   Caramel (Bellagio), Tangerine (Treasure Island), Tabu (an Ultra Lounge at MGM Grand), Centrifuge (MGM Grand) and Rum Jungle (Mandalay Bay).

   Centrifuge - is the only one that is closer to a bar than a club, plus its close to a poker room so you can always go to play poker if you find no luck in the bar (buts its a nice bar).

   Tangerine - probably the trendiest lounge of the ones that I mentioned, and has a nice decor. But might also be the hardest to socialize in.

   Tabu - usually has some performances, girls dancing, etc. - but is very nice also. not open every night so check before going here.

   Rum Jungle - used to be a VERY popular spot until the growth of the massive club scene in Vegas. But when you get there you can see that it is just about the biggest lounge/bar that you'll find around the strip. They do tend to charge cover after 11pm, so try and get there early - definately a nice place to grab a drink by yourself and meet someone if you want.

   Caramel - has the best looking waitresses by far - super hot girls. Plus the atmostphere is dim light and laid back -very relaxing and they bring the drinks right to you. Never too crowded. Best place to enjoy a drink, relax, and spark a converasation, but hard to find girls to really have fun with.

   Hope this helps - you can also try the clubs if you insist on going to them. RAIN (Palms), LIGHT (Bellagio), TAO (Venetian), and PURE (Caesar's Palace) are by favorite clubs!

   Safely. You can gamble; check the clubs; go to the shows. I don't have a problem doing things alone. I actually end up meeting some cool folks. You just have to be careful.
