Las Vegas Nightlife / Clubs / Bars?

Hi, Me and my friend will be in Vegas from August 5th - 9th August, we will be wanting one clubbing night. Please can you advise us of the best place..we are looking for something not really really expensive and not really posh / snobby / the ones i have been looking at look like they are full of posers…any advice would be great!

all clubs in las Vegas are kind of expensive but some of them is you go in august are ok. check this site http://www.vegas-passport.com you can get a club hopping package deal. if not just go to the big clubs Lax at luxor, Krave near planet hollywood, Tao at the venetian or Voo Doo at the Rio is not to expensive. good luck and be save'' have a great time with your friend's.

All the Casino resorts have a nite club and they are all great. Yu might want to check out the one on the east side of the MGM, it often has stars and celebs in it.

Bars are better for what you are looking for.
Clubs are pricey, and all about people trying to out flash and hip each other. Most are not overly snobby, but lots of people have a certain attitude at those places. Like their **** dont stink. Plus, you will drop a hundred bucks in the blink off an eye.
I would try carnival court. Its more of laid back, outdoor bar. It can get kinda rowdy and packed on certain nights, but there is no cover charge, no dress code, and very few "fake" millonaires in silk shirts tossing money around just to pick up women.

If you want to see celeb's and that kind of thing go to tao, tryst, pure, lavo, prive, but you bet they will be expensive and very posh, as almost every club on the strip will be. From what you said, I think you would be happier at a good bar. Check out kahunaville in treasure island, it is a hawaiin themed bar that is very hip and usually throws a pretty good party and will be much cheaper. Ghostbar in the palms casino is rated one of the best bars in the country, but is a bit more posh then kahunaville.

All the clubs charge about the same to get in and the same for refreshments including very expensive bottle service.

Try Pure at Caesar's or Ghost Bar at the palms. Try and get on the guest list before hand. You can do that by visiting the hotel's early in the day and speaking to a club rep or concierge. Arrive early and dress to kill.

The Clubs are very expensive and all about attitude. If you do not like that sort of thing you will be very disappointed. But there is an alternative. Party Bars. My favorite is Kahunaville in Treasure Island right across from the Mystere Theater. Kahunaville is a restaurant/party bar. In the afternoon they have 'dueling pianos' which is a raunchy and fun sing along and comedy show. But after 7pm the DJ starts and the party begins.
There is no cover, dress is casual, the drinks are huge and resonably priced and they have "Flair" bartenders (those guys and gals that toss and juggle the bottles around) that put on a great show. They throw impromtu "competitions" and try to outdo each other to the delight of the crowd that gets fired up rooting for their favorite one. This is often followed by free shots.
When the show gets rocking you can hear the crowd out on the casino floor. It is a lot of fun. No posers! I gave you a link that reviews Kahunaville as well as a lot of other places.

JET at the Mirage is fun. They don't have any cover and there are a lot of people there so if you are by some lame people you can move away towards some cool people.
